We always talk about how important representation is in our government. As a young mother of four, I feel lucky to be able to support Lauren Gauthier for state representative in 40th District because she represents me. Lauren is a young, hardworking mother who is trying to make our community a better place to live. She has been volunteering for years and serves on the Groton RTM. She understands the issues young families face with cost of living increasing and career opportunities flatlining. I know that she is invested in the success of our state because she could have gone anywhere to start her career and family, and she chose southeastern Connecticut.

This election, I am going to be supporting candidates that will fight for my family and my children’s future by focusing on strategies to make the state more affordable and creating more career opportunities.
