Casino names VP of gaming

Foxwoods Resort Casino has named Eric Pearson vice president of gaming and revenue enhancement.

Pearson has worked at major gaming operations across the country, including Gila River Casinos, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus Hotel Casino. Most recently, he was vice president of gaming at Northern Quest Resort and Casino.

In his new role, Pearson will be responsible for the operational and financial oversight of the slots department, slots marketing, arcade operations and database marketing. He also will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic slots marketing plan and staying abreast of changes in the marketing and casino environments.
