    Cardboard boat race held in Groton

    Four hundred and fifty high school students participating in the UConn Early College Experience created 30 boats and competed in 3 UConn ECE heats with the first place winners from each heat competing in the championship.  UConn Avery Point students and staff competed in 14 boats for one race. 

    The event was presented by the UConn Avery Point Associated Student Government.
