Norwich Winterfest committee announces parade winners

Norwich – The Winterfest Parade committee on Monday announced the winners of the parade contest for the 30th annual parade held on Saturday.

Winners were:

Best Band: Norwich Free Academy.

Best Use of Greenery: 4-H Club.

Most Whimsical: Santa Clause / Wacky Factory.

Best Dance: Lions Den Dance Group.

Best Firetruck: Yantic Volunteer Fire Department.

Best Theme: Laurel Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

Most Creative: Eastern Savings Bank.

The David Wigfield Spirit Award: Church & Allen Funeral Service and Labenski Funeral Home.
