Old Lyme — A drug take-back event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the Old Lyme Firehouse, 69 Lyme St.

People can bring unwanted medication, both prescription and over-the-counter, for safe disposal, according to the event notice. The event is free and anonymous and no questions will be asked.

The Lymes' Youth Service Bureau and Lyme/Old Lyme Prevention Coalition, Old Lyme police and fire departments, state police and National Drug Enforcement Agency are hosting the event.
