Montville — St. Thomas lost to SPIRE Academy of Ohio 95-82 in a men's basketball game on Sunday.

KK Curry and Adrien Nunez scored 18 points each for the Chancellors (6-6). Jared Garcia had 11 points and seven rebounds, DJ Mitchell scored 14, Curry had seven rebounds and four assists and Nunez had eight rebounds for T-More. 

H.S. girls' fencing

• Fitch went 4-0 in an Eastern Connecticut Conference tri-meet on Saturday. In foil, the Falcons beat Griswold 9-0 and St. Bernard 7-2 and Fitch beat Griswold 9-0 and St. Bernard 8-1 in epee. Fitch's Lauren Rusk and Sneha Kumar were 6-0 in foil and teammates Danielle Millerick and Jennifer Lee were 6-0 in epee. The Falcons ran their ECC regular-season win streak to 48 matches. St. Bernard beat Griswold 8-1 in foil and 9-0 in epee.

H.S. boys' fencing

• Fitch was 4-0 in an ECC tri-meet on Saturday, beating Griswold 9-0 and St. Bernard 8-1 in foil. The Falcons beat Griswold 6-3 and St. Bernard 5-4 in epee. St. Bernard beat Griswold 5-4 in foil and 8-1 in epee. Fitch's Camden Mason and Max Bacchiocchi were 6-0 in foil and Graham McCauley of St. Bernard was 6-0 in epee.
