AIDS Memorial Quilt at Conn College

Joan and Rod Wilson of Old Saybrook view panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt Monday at the Tansill Theater on the campus of Connecticut College. Wilson's first husband, Bill Stuart, died of AIDS in 1994 and she came to New London to see if his panel was among those included in the nine large sections, approximately 70 individual panels, of the quilt being displayed (it was not). The sections, which will be on display today and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., are here with the support of the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy and in partnership with New London's Alliance for Living, the First Year Seminar on "The AIDS Epidemic in Theater and Film" to mark World AIDS Day.
