Monday is Memorial Day, a state and federal holiday.

• Federal, state and municipal offices will be closed.

• Banks and credit unions will be closed.

• U.S. financial markets will be closed.

• Public and private schools will be closed.

• Post offices will be closed, but Express Mail, special deliveries and perishable items will be delivered.

• Shore Line East trains will operate on the weekend/holiday schedule. South East Area Transit buses will not be operating.

• Liquor stores will be closed.

• The Connecticut Lottery Corp. headquarters in Rocky Hill will be closed. The website and automated phone system will be available to obtain information. Regularly scheduled lottery drawings will occur.
