Preston Democrats to hold caucus July 28

Preston — The Democratic Town Committee will hold its caucus to endorse candidates for the fall municipal elections at 7 p.m. on July 28 in the town library conference room.

Preston Democrats interested in running for office this fall should contact DTC Chairman Sean Nugent at (860) 625-3162 and should plan to attend the caucus.

Democratic incumbent Selectman Lynwood Crary plans to seek re-election. No other Democratic candidates have announced plans to run for first selectman or for the Board of Selectmen.
