    Make a Difference: New England Adolescent Treatment Center, Inc. (NEAT)

    WHO: Ten boys aged 14 to 21.

    AGENCY: The New England Adolescent Treatment Center Inc. (NEAT)

    THEIR SITUATION: Clients unable to live at home are placed with the agency by the state Department of Children and Families. They live at the home in Groton and participate in school and community activities. In addition to residential services, NEAT offers a life-skills program. A vocational/educational/hobby shop gives residents a chance to learn basic automotive repair skills and other vocational and Internet skills. The boys have also fixed up and donated several cars to needy families and individuals.

    WHAT TO GIVE: Donated cars are actively sought. NEAT also seeks new or used automotive equipment, tools and work benches.
