Town, city plans 'Get to Know Your Groton' economic development event

Groton — The economic development commissions from Groton town and Groton City will host a joint event called "Get to Know Your Groton" this month.

The event is free and open to the public and will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Par 4 Restaurant, 93 Plant St., Groton.

The program goal is "gathering the community to network with the many people who spend their time working to make Groton a great place to live and work," according to a press release.

Guests will be able to talk to members of both development commissions and representatives of the business community. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

Guests are asked to register online at mysticchamber.org or by calling the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce at (860) 572-9578.
