    SCORE to host non-profit business workshop

    The southeastern Connecticut chapter of non-profit association SCORE will be hosting Bob Potter in his presentation of “How to Start and Run Your Own Non-Profit Business” in Old Saybrook on June 21.

    Potter, a counselor with SCORE, has more than 40 years of experience in creative management, non-profit development and marketing communications. He has worked for the Lyme Art Association, Mystic Seaport, National Geographic and Time Warner.

    At the workshop, Potter will discuss creating strategic and business plans, fundraising and sponsorship and managing the board of directors and staff.

    The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. June 21 at the Old Saybrook Town Hall, 302 Main St., Old Saybrook.
