    United against hunger at Mohegan Sun

    Volunteers with the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut fill bags with rice, beans, soy flour and spices to create meal packages Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Mohegan Sun. The event, which aimed to pack 20,000 meals worth of food in one hour, followed the United Way Community Leaders Breakfast. The meal packages will be distributed to member emergency food programs through the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center and through the mobil food pantry program. Virginia L.
