I-95 south in East Lyme reopens after accident

East Lyme — A multi-vehicle crash has closed Interstate 95 southbound between exits 73 and 72 this afternoon, state police in Montville reported.

Police said the highway had reopened Saturday evening, but traffic was expected to be congested in that area for some time.

Traffic has been congested in both directions on I-95 in the East Lyme area throughout the day.
