Part of trail at The Preserve to be temporarily closed

Old Saybrook — A section of the red trail at The Preserve will be closed from Sept. 6 to 16, Save the Sound announced Wednesday.

During the trail closure, invasive weeds will be removed.

About two-tenths of a mile will be closed, interrupting the loop around Pequot Pond.
