New London – The City Council earlier this month, acting on the recommendation of the administration committee, appointed six people to vacancies on boards and commissions.

Dylan Wardwell was appointed as a regular member of the Economic Development Commission for a five-year term. Suzanne Simpson was appointed to a five-year term as a regular member of the Parking Authority. Priscilla Peabody and Donna M. Bailey were appointed to three-year terms as regular members of the Parks and Recreation Commission. Christina Bliven and Joseph Muscarella were appointed to three-year terms as alternate members of the Parks and Recreation Commission for a three-year term.
