Spooky Nature Trail event rescheduled to Thursday

Mystic — The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center's Spooky Nature Trail, which was rained out last weekend, has been rescheduled to this Thursday.

The Creatures of the Night program will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the nature center, 109 Pequotsepos Road. It will consist of a Halloween-themed program about noctural animals, including a live owl, a walk through the forest guided by candel-lit pumpkins, and crafts, games, live animal displays and other indoor activities. Popcorn, apple cider, cotton candy and s'mores around the fire will be served.

The event is suitable for children ages 3 and older. Admission is $12 for youth and $8 for adults (no strollers please). Tickets purchase for the event last Saturday will be honored. To register, visit: http://dpnc.org/calendar/creatures-of-the-night/
