Ledyard — The Parks and Recreation Department has announced that registration for a class on military space air travel is open.

The class, for active and retired military service members, will teach how to use the military space air travel program "in the most productive way possible," according to the announcement.

The three-week course familiarizes students with how to use Space A flights and what to expect.

"At the end of this course, you should be able to plan, schedule and use this service benefit," the class description reads.

Classes are held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Nov. 2, 10 and 17 and costs $25 per couple or $15 per individual.
