Mystic Holiday Lighted Boat Parade winners announced

Mystic -- The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of its Holiday Lighted Boat Parade held on Saturday at Mystic River Park.

This year saw 20 participating boats, a record number, according to the chamber.

The awards are as follows:

Most Charismatic Crew: Kariann, a 31-foot boat owned by Jerry Freidel.

Most Innovative Vessel: Karma, a 24-foot center console owned by Tim Greene.

Best Dressed Vessel: Carey Ann, a 30-foot center console owned by Brian Faulkner with a "Charlie Brown Christmas” theme.

Miss Mystic Vessel of Grandeur: Fish n’ Chicks, a 25-foot Bluefin Center Console owned by Ian Poulton.

Most Holiday Spirit: The Sparkling Sleigh, a 13-foot Boston Whaler owned by Scott Keilty.
