Free Valentine's Day wedding services at Olde Mistick Village

Mystic -- Carrying on her annual Valentine’s Day tradition, Justice of the Peace Marie Tyler Wiley will again perform free weddings on Feb. 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Meeting House in Olde Mistick Village.

Couples, who can choose from five written services, must present an official wedding license from The Town of Stonington. Town Hall is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for licenses.

Wiley, a non-denominational minister, has been voted the No. 1 wedding official in the state since 2007 by a host of online and print publications including Modern Bride magazine, Connecticut Bride magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings.
