Westerly Hospital offers programs on cancer, Alzheimer's disease

Westerly — Westerly Hospital has updated its schedule for the remaining programs for its Wednesday Wellness series this spring.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on March 29, Dr. David Cameron and Dr. Dante Gulino will present, "Early Detection: Screening for Oral, Head and Neck Cancer." Free screening for oral, head, and neck cancer will be available. Screenings are by appointment only and space is limited. Call (401) 348-2300 or send an email to CommunityEducation@westerlyhospital.org to schedule an appointment.

At 4:30 p.m. on April 12, neurologist Dr. Maria Moro de Casillas will present, "Alzheimer's Disease + Our Aging Mind: Understanding Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment Options."

All programs meet at the hospital’s Henry J. Nardone Conference Center. Admission is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a seat, call (401) 348-2300 or send an email to CommunityEducation@westerlyhospital.org.
