Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation announces $4,600 donation

New London — The Lower Connecticut River Valley Chapter of the 100+ Women Who Care organization has donated 46 checks of $100 to the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation, the foundation announced Monday.

The $4,600 donation, presented on March 29, will go toward sponsorship of salaries for the foundation’s summer interns.

The 100+ group gathers four times a year to learn about local charities, and members make a commitment to donate $100 each to a local organization selected by the group. The local chapter is one of 350 chapters worldwide.
