Once known as the Bay View Hotel, she’s been standing there upon a knoll overlooking the Niantic River since 1890. She has sheltered countless people and survived many a New England weather.

Over the years, her luck changed and she began to fade and fall into disrepair. But she later rose from neglect, shook off demise and now shines, once again, on her grassy knoll overlooking the river and proudly bears her new name...The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina B&B.

Now this is where you history buffs come in. East Lyme Historical Society archives has little information about this building and is seeking to know more about her past. We meet from 10 a.m. to noon every Monday in the East Lyme Room at the East Lyme Public Library.
