This is Lucky waiting for his best friend Parker to come out and play. They live backyard to backyard, and they have been best friends since they met a year ago. If Lucky is not in the yard, Parker comes over to Lucky's house and comes in through the pet door to find him.

MAX AND RILEY

Our kittens, Max and Riley, love to crouch behind the two-way mirror on the bird feeder attached to one of our windows. When we first got them, they slept together in one cat bed. Now they have separate beds, side by side, on my bed. My parents wanted two cats so they could have one in their bed, but I decided both cats would sleep better with me. Two cats are better than one because they stay active chasing each other around the house.

SCOUT, OPIE AND ANDY

Scout is very patient with little brothers Opie and Andy. My boys are pathetic: Whenever they see one of my female cats washing herself, they run over and lean up against her so she will wash them, too.
