Romano 60th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. & Mrs. Romano

Virginia Ashburn Romano and Joseph J. Romano were married on July 2, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Church in New London.

Virginia and Joseph are both from New London but lived in Gulfport, Miss. for 43 years. They returned to Connecticut in 2008, where they now reside in Uncasville.

They are the proud parents of four children, Leo, Dan, Jay and Joanie, who is deceased. Leo and Dan reside in Gulfport and Jay lives in Florida. In addition, they have four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Virginia is a retired homemaker and Joseph is an Air Force and Civil Service retiree.

This was their 60th wedding anniversary and was celebrated with a quiet dinner at a local restaurant.
