James and Sally Cuda, of Westerly, have the honor of announcing the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Ashley to Stephen Michael Villanova, son of Richard and Laura Villanova, of Thornwood, N.Y. Melissa and Stephen were united in marriage on July 10, 2015, in Middletown. The outside ceremony was held on the lawn at Wadsworth Mansion and was officiated by Father Michael Aparo. A beautiful sunset reception followed.

Amanda Nowak and Elizabeth Cuda, sisters of bride, and Christopher and Daniel Villanova, brothers of the groom, were the honor attendants.

The bridesmaids were Hillari DeGiacomo, Jordan Gerbutavich, Katherine Gergich, Adrienne Sanford, Kim Villanova and Ashley Wildes. The groomsmen were Matthew Bloom, Michael Callaci, Thomas Nowak, James Papavasilakis, Daniel Stangarone and Christopher Sullivan. The ring bearers were Richard Villanova and Nicholas Villanova and Evelyn Rose Nowak was the flower girl.

The bride is the granddaughter of James and Ruth Stewart, of North Stonington, and Rita and the late John Cuda, of Westerly.

The groom is the grandson of Julia and the late Thomas Cominsky, Anthony and the late Beth Villanova.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Westerly High School and received her master’s from Providence College in 2010. She is employed as a senior executive assistant at a hedge fund in Greenwich. The groom is a 2004 graduate of Briarcliff High School and received his bachelor’s from Providence College in 2008. He is employed as a claims manager at Liberty Mutual in Elmsford, N.Y.

Melissa and Stephen travelled to Hawaii to celebrate their honeymoon.

The couple resides in Stamford.
