Gillan-Forand Engagement Announcement

Daniel and Cynthia Gillan of East Lyme are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth to Luke William Forand, son of William and Terri Forand of Towson, Md.

Courtney, a graduate of East Lyme High School and Tulane University, is a senior manager of global public relations for Kate Spade in New York City.

Luke, a graduate of Loyola Blakefield and Forham University, is a marketing manager for Patina Restaurant Group, also in New York City, where the couple met.

The engagement took place in Vieques, Puerto Rico, surrounded by friends.

A spring 2017 wedding is planned.
