    Kelly Willette is Naval Submarine School’s Civilian of the Quarter

    Groton — The Naval Submarine School recognized its top civilian performer, Kelly Willette, as Civilian of the Second Quarter of 2016 in ceremonies at Bledsoe Hall on Aug. 18.

    In announcing her selection, Capt. Aaron Thieme, commanding officer of the Naval Submarine School, praised Willette's "high standards while consistently performing her demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner."

    Willette is executive assistant to the commanding officer of Naval Submarine School and is responsible for generating, editing and routing for signature all command correspondence and managing the commanding officer's calendar while also continuing to serve as the command's word processing clerk.

    Thieme lauded, "(H)er dedication to the execution of Naval Submarine School's daily routine (which) resulted in all correspondence and administration being executed seamlessly and on time."
