Search resumes for missing small plane

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. — A search has resumed for a small airplane that went missing while on approach to Danbury Airport in Connecticut.
State Department of Environmental Protection Lt. Bill Flynn tells The Journal News that the aircraft was on a landing approach when it lost contact with the airport around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities believe it may have gone down near the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem, N.Y., in Westchester County.
The search was suspended around 1 a.m. due to heavy fog. Divers and helicopters looking for the aircraft Friday morning.
