East Lyme police charge man under home improvement act
East Lyme — Town police charged a 43-year-old Wethersfield man on Saturday with allegedly making a false statement and misrepresentation or fraud under the home improvement act, according to police records.
Police arrested James Delmaro of Wethersfield at the location of 32 Terrace Ave. in Niantic on Saturday afternoon, the arrest log states.
Resident State Trooper Sgt. Wilfred Blanchette III said in an email that the arrest was based on a complaint filed by the state Attorney General's office.
The individual is not a suspect in any other cases in East Lyme, he said. Delmaro is due in court on May 1.
