UPDATED: Bus accident causes traffic delays on Route 117 in Groton

Groton — A Southeast Area Transit bus traveling south on Route 117 near the Interstate 95 off ramp struck and snapped an utility pole, police said.

Police said traffic is moving in both directions, but some delays are expected.

No injuries were reported. The accident, which is under investigation, was reported at about 9:45 a.m.
