Fallen tree closes Route 2A in Preston

Preston -- Route 2A was closed for about four hours early Sunday morning near the Brookside Cafe after a large oak tree fell across the road.

State police confirmed the state road at the intersection with Middle Road in Preston was closed about 4:30 a.m. and reopened about 8:15 a.m. after a state road crew had cleared the tree. There were no accidents or injuries reported.
