    Car strikes New London house, 9 displaced

    New London — A car struck a house on Bank Street Friday afternoon after it failed to negotiate a turn, according to police.

    Police said the driver had a medical issue that led to the accident at 874 Bank St., and that he or she suffered minor injuries.

    No one in the house was injured, police said, but its nine residents are displaced because of structural damage resulting from the 1:16 p.m. accident.
