Norwich — Six people were displaced Wednesday night after a fire "significantly" damaged a Twins Court home, fire officials said Thursday morning.
According to East Great Plain Fire Chief Patrick Daley, firefighters were able to knock down the 9 p.m. fire at 12 Twins Court in about 10 minutes.
He said the home is repairable but has significant damage. No injuries occurred in the fire.
The American Red Cross assisted the six residents affected, he said.
Yantic, Norwich and Mohegan Tribal firefighters assisted the East Great Plain Volunteer Fire Department.
Daley said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
