Norwich man arrested on sexual assault charges
Norwich – Police arrested a local man on sexual assault charges stemming from a November incident in which he allegedly “forced himself” on a teenage victim known to him, police said.
Timothy M. Doroshevich, 26, of 22 Rose St. was charged today at 9:29 a.m. with first-degree sexual assault and second-degree unlawful restraint. He was arraigned today in Norwich Superior Court and is being held on a $150,000 bond. His case was continued to March 6.
Police said Doroshevich was arrested after an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred on Nov. 30 in the area of Elizabeth Street. Doroshevich allegedly had forced himself on a teenage victim after smoking the controlled substance, “K2,” synthetic marijuana.
