UPDATED: Shore Road in Old Lyme reopened after crash

Old Lyme — Shore Road has been reopened after a car crash involving a bicycle Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 2:40 p.m., and a Life Star helicopter was requested to transport one injured person.

State police said the road between Four Mile River Road and the East Lyme town line was reopened as of 8 p.m.

No further information is available.
