    Police logs – Sept. 28, 2016

    Groton Town

    Dante F. Walters, 20, of 126 Mather Ave., No. 16, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening and interfering with police.

    Jennifia M. Auclair, 37, of 40 Montauk Ave., New London, was charged Monday with prostitution. 

    New London

    Jennifer A. Scherp, 24, of 16 Spaulding St., Norwich, was charged Monday with evading responsibility and failure to drive at a reasonable distance apart.

    Araceliz Bonano, 35, of 63 Connecticut Ave. was charged Monday with driving with a suspended license, failure to have head lamps and failure to have headlights illuminated.

    Laurie Chapman, 56, of 821 Raymond Hill Road, Oakdale, was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast, driving an unregistered vehicle and failure to carry minimum insurance.

    Terence Brown, 50, of Manchester was charged Monday with third-degree larceny.

    Terrence Dowd, 56, of 193 Long Wharf Road, Mystic, was charged Monday with three counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Katie Phillips, 35, of 98 Hawthorne Drive, Apt. 1E, was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license, failure to carry minimum insurance and failure to drive right.

    Brian Smith, 35, of 73 Hempstead St., Apt. 1, was charged Sunday with being a fugitive from justice.

    Noelfa Cadillo, 25, of 37 Spring St. was charged Sunday with risk of injury to a minor.

    State police — Montville

    Chauncey A. Post, 37, of 31 Bentley Ave., Norwich, was charged Sunday in Montville with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of a marker, failure to maintain minimum insurance and driving with a suspended license.

    Mario Tzampop, 29, of 29 Oakridge St., Norwich, was charged Sunday in Preston with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of a marker, failure to maintain mimimum insurance and driving without a license.

    Stonington

    Andrew Qualich, 24, of 64 Brandywine Drive, Westerly, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving in violation of license classification.
