Police issue Silver Alert for New London 12-year-old

New London — Police on Tuesday night issued a Silver Alert for 12-year-old Antonio Torres of New London.

Torres is described as a white/Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds, according to the release. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue sweatpants and maroon low-top Nike sneakers, according to the alert, which said he'd been missing since earlier Tuesday.
