Norwich firefighters extinguish blaze at auto sales and service business

Norwich — Firefighters are currently extinguishing a fire that broke out just past 5 p.m. in the shop section of Kleemann’s Service Center, an automobile and sales business at 401 N. Main St.
Witnesses said flames were shooting 30 feet into the air before the fire department arrived. Firefighters had the fire under control just before 7 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
Since Oct. 19, firefighters have responded to three fires in or near vacant buildings that were intentionally set.
