Norwich man charged in home invasion

Norwich — Police on Tuesday arrested a 22-year-old Hickory Street man on assault, robbery and larceny charges connected to a home invasion that occurred Oct. 16 on Hamilton Avenue.

Rasheed Serrano of 209 Hickory St. was charged with home invasion, second-degree assault, sixth-degree larceny and first-degree robbery, police said Wednesday.

He was held on a $100,000 bond and was arraigned in Norwich Superior Court on Tuesday, police said. No further information was available on Wednesday.
