Norwich — Rosie the goat, found wandering the city Thursday evening, has been returned to her home, according to Norwich Animal Control.

An animal control officer first posted about the lost goat around 9 p.m. Thursday, humorously writing in a Facebook post that "just when (we think) we've seen it all, here's a goat."

"So please share so this poor goat can get home!" the officer concluded.

It wasn't immediately clear where the goat was found or who its owner is.
