Route 85 reopened in Montville

Montville — Police have reopened state Route 85, which was closed early Tuesday because a tree fell and took down wires and a pole.

The road has been closed at Lakes Pond Road in the south and near Turner Road and Wide World of Indoor Sports in the north. The tree fell just north of the Waterford town line.
