Norwich man held on home invasion, assault charges
Norwich — Police said they arrested a city man on home invasion and assault charges Wednesday after he forced his way into the Boswell Avenue home of his ex-wife and assaulted her and a male friend.
Larry Fletcher Jr., 39, of 19 Lornadale Drive was located at his home and placed under arrest shortly after the 10:15 p.m. incident, according to police.
The two victims suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
Fletcher is charged with home invasion, attempted first-degree assault, second-degree threatening, third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned Thursday in Superior Court and is being held in lieu of $100,000 at the Corrigan Correctional Institution. He is due back in court on April 27.
