Waterford — A portion of Jordan Cove Road will be closed for 90 days beginning next week as crews work to replace the bridge over the Jordan River.

In a news release, police said the closure will begin Monday between Shore Road and Jordan Cove Circle, as New England Infrastructure Inc. workers replace the bridge.

No vehicular traffic or pedestrians will be allowed in the area during construction.
