New London — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 3-year-old girl who has been missing since Wednesday.

Police said the missing child, Zaniyah Bullette, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen with her hair tied in a bun while wearing a fuzzy pink coat, blue jeans, diamond earrings and blue and white sneakers. She is 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 40 pounds.

According to police, Bullette was a patient at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital Wednesday when her biological mother, India Quinones, took her despite a medical hold and not having parental custody of the child.

Police said Quinones was last seen operating a newer Honda Civic with a faded or light colored front hood and an unknown Connecticut license plate.

Police ask anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of Bullette to call the New London Police Department at (860) 447-5269.
