Police: Man with multiple active arrest warrants charged with breaking window

New London — A 38-year-old city man has been charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief for allegedly breaking a window at 25 Tilley St., police said.

New London police responded to the address about 10:08 p.m. Thursday after getting a report of "windows being smashed out," city police Capt. Brian Wright said. Police arrested Derek Myers, last known address of 325 Huntington St.

Wright said Myers had multiple active warrants for his arrest, mostly for charges of failure to appear in court and failure to respond to infractions.
