Niantic — Gov. Dannel P. Malloy on Wednesday officially dedicated the Keys to Success Reintegration Unit at the all-women York Correctional Institution.

The goal of the unit, which began operating Feb. 1, is to “promote successful opportunities for incarcerated women re-entering the community.”

The third of its kind to be announced in less than a year, the unit is part of Malloy’s Second Chance Society initiative.
