Missing woman found dead near train tracks

Branford — Police say a missing woman was found dead near train tracks in Connecticut.

Branford police say 31-year-old Sarah Addy left her home to go for a hike on Monday afternoon. She was later reported missing.

Her body was found at around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police say they believe she was hit by an eastbound train Monday night.

Authorities are investigating.
