HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police say they arrested 15 people and seized more than 500 bags of heroin during a drug bust in Hartford.
Deputy Chief Brian Foley says the operation was conducted Wednesday in response to recent shootings and complaints of open-air drug sales.
Police seized 15 bags of crack cocaine and more than $700. Police say one juvenile was arrested and a vehicle stolen during a robbery was recovered.
Nine people were charged with possession of narcotics. Others face charges of third-degree criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.
