2 Bridgeport brothers plead guilty to distributing heroin

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — Federal authorities say two Bridgeport brothers have pleaded guilty to heroin distribution charges in connection with the overdoses of two people.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 39-year-old Erick Delgado and 28-year-old Anoris Delgado both pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of distribution of heroin.

Authorities say the men were involved in distributing heroin to a 24-year-old man who overdosed but was revived with the overdose reversal antidote Narcan in April. A 48-year-old man overdosed and died at a Bridgeport residence.

Investigators say they completed controlled purchases of heroin from the brothers prior to their arrests in June.

They both face up to 20 years in prison.
